Biography

PAT GAINOR is an award-winning international artist living and working in Los Angeles, California.

Born in Detroit, Michigan, Pat graduated valedictorian of her class, winning a four-year academic scholarship. She also helped work her way through college modeling. Pat earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Detroit Mercy. Immediately after graduation, she moved to New York City, where she had a successful career as a model and still found time to go to nearby Central Park to paint.

One of those Central Park paintings ended up in an exhibition at the Grand Rapids Art Museum.

During her accomplished modeling career in NYC, she moved to Grand Rapids to host her own daily, three-hour television show called “The Early Show with Pat” on the ABC-TV affiliate while continuing to model in New York, Detroit and Chicago. After a successful season of her TV show, she was off to Los Angeles where she acted in award-winning films, Emmy-winning television and live theatre.

She continued painting all through her successful careers as an actress, model, and TV host. In addition, she studied at Otis College of Art and Design in LA and is now passionately and exclusively devoted to her profession as a painter. Pat has been delighted to show her work in over twenty museum exhibitions plus solo and group gallery shows, art fairs, and their satellites in Paris, London, New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Basil, Miami Palm Springs, San Diego, and Positano, Italy. She has collectors throughout the United States, Europe, and Japan.
